I was frustrated by the situation at first, concerned he would be unhappy with my service and his purchase, therefor jeopardizing referrals and future business, but then I realized it’s really not my problem. Not exactly a great customer service attitude but the good customer service was provided by solving HIS problem.

His system works as he wants. He already had the AE lying around so it cost neither of us anything. Win win.

But I have decided I’m going to create a qualification form for every customer to fill out, kind of like a medical history questionnaire that you fill out when you go see a physio therapist or whatever.

Who is you internet provider?

List equipment you own and want to use?

What music services / TV services do you subscribe to?

Etc etc.

Maybe everyone does this already.
