I did get the MX880 driver to load on a Win7 laptop that was upgraded to Win10. My main Win10 laptop loaded the driver with dig sig turned off, but it blocked from being used. Grrr. "The driver for this device has been blocked from starting because it is known to have problems with Windows. Contact the hardware vendor for a new driver. (Code 48)"

Okay! I followed my own motto "when in doubt, re-boot." Wiht digital signatures turned off, I uninstalled the driver and its software, then reinstalled the XP driver. This time it worked and I Windows does not block me from using that driver. Yeah!
