I personally would hate this under the desk mesh stuff. With my long legs, I tend to push up the desk with my knees and what not. And I would be afraid of damaging a cable or a plug... because we all know how dumb people would be and put an inline plug under the desk in a spot like that.

Then there’s the back area, again I’ll be twitching my feet in that area too.
