The two suggested devices are both mono, requiring two devices if you want the chime to be stereo.
In any case there will be some irksome details. First, there will be a delay while the amplifier switches ON. Then, you'll have a dickens of a time getting the ducking to track between the two devices if you attempt to have a stereo chime.
