I did find that the motion sensor had been pushed up in the TV a little.  I'm sure when installing I stood the TV up on a moving blanket on the floor and that seemed to dislodge it.

I just wiggled it with my fingers and it kind of popped back down into place.  This seemed to improve the motion sensing, but still seems like it could work better.
