I installed Windows 7 in a virtual machine on my Windows 10. I was able to get CCP to run and it actually recognized the PIR-1 and updated the firmware to v 1.54.

I then tried to get the PIR-1 to work in Win 10 and couldn't get it to work no matter what I tried (including running in Win 7 compatibility mode). I could use virtual Win 7 with CCP for the codes I need to learn but I can't figure out how to access the virtual machine drives and I can't connect via network to my other PCs either. CCP runs very small screen size in virtual Win 7 so it's a pain.

I'm very curious to see if you can get the PIR-1 recognized in CCP running on Windows 10. Thanks again for your help in troubleshooting. I would have never tried Win 7 until you mentioned it.
