Sorry you didn’t like it.
They are definitely a medium-level roast. It seems like you like ‘em really dark and roasty and smoky. That’s completely opposite of what I like. I think the red bird has a lot of subtle flavors and that Starbucks espresso is lacking any flavors except for burnt. I wouldn’t try any roasters that call themselves third wave. You will be pulling a lot of shots that taste like someone squeezed a lemon in there.
Hopefully, you, at least, enjoyed the chocolates.
