I have had araknis switch's strip out vlan tags. Snap couldn't figure it out. I had to bypass the araknis POE switch and use POE injectors and go straight out of the router (Mikrotik) and the Vlan tags worked perfectly.

I have seen multiple issues with Araknis switchs with different projects and different products. Replace araknis with a Netgear prosafe and everything worked perfectly.
