In my opinion one should wire as many Sonos units as is practical. Most unmanaged switches will work just fine. Poorly configured managed switches can cause lots of trouble. Best to avoid hardware on
this list. It's not a great idea to wire a cluster of Sonos units together unless one of them is wired to the network -- this can result in intermittent issues.
