I have last years model of that (I bought used for $1200). It is awesome. With the PCI solid state drive, the boot up time to the login screen is only 2-3 seconds. After I type the password, time to desktop is only 2-3 more seconds and it's ready to go. And it doesn't get bogged down with anything I throw at it. Screen looks very good as well - very bright too. I have used gaming laptops for work for a long time now. They work very well at editing graphics and the small rendering we run into with this industry. And you can always find a good deal on last years models, from gamers wanting to upgrade to the latest.
