Have you tried Clyde Mays Straight?
I have mixed emotions about it. Its sourced if you read the lable close enough.
Its got a stout burn thats not unpleasent but for me its a complicated palet with a lingering pleasent finish that keeps you thinking.
By far not my favorite but fun.
My go too still the Trace.
I have not. Our liquor stores here are run by the state, and it makes for a bit of a limited selection some times. I’ll have to look for it when I’m traveling. Back at thanksgiving though I did try Statesmen from Old Forester. It was made for the new Kingsmen Movie. It was good with a decent heat. But for the price, I’d rather two bottles of Trace.
That said, I’ve got a bottle of Blanton’s that someone gave me for Christmas.
