We use Sony and Marantz receivers. I really only have problems with the AppleTV 4k. I can use a Roku 4k or Sony UBP800 and they both work through the receivers great with 4k HDR. AppleTV does not. Again as others have said, appletv straight to the TV works fine. What a pain in the a$$.
