Do scrap yards take them?

The same for old component cables. I have a box that is unmovable full of old cables. Yesterday I literally removed 75lbs worth of component cables. I have got to figure out what todo with all of this!

Check with a scrap yard for the cables- if you don't want the AVRs/other electronics that still work and aren't trying to get anything for them, donate them. Broken TVs may be able to go to Best Buy.
