They are piling up in my garage, I might have close to 35-40 old AVRS vcrs, dvd plyers you name it starting to take over my garage. I have 4-5 TVs that are broken too. My township doesn’t allow me to place electronics in the trash, however they don’t offer e recycling either. (Have to pay a 3rd party)
I’ve been searching around and can’t find any place that takes them, the closest e recycling place is 3 hours away.
Do scrap yards take them?
The same for old component cables. I have a box that is unmovable full of old cables. Yesterday I literally removed 75lbs worth of component cables. I have got to figure out what todo with all of this!
Check with a scrap yard for the cables- if you don't want the AVRs/other electronics that still work and aren't trying to get anything for them, donate them. Broken TVs may be able to go to Best Buy.
