The fact that you think the female on the radio show was truly shocked says a lot.
Well, I say it after having listened to these two guys since they were transplants to LA from New Jersey, and their program has evolved from silly stuff like you're talking about to actual things that make a difference.
They've had some conversations with different newswomen, but they were never a feature and not really part of the show. The last time they had a woman perky enough to keep up with them, she ended up part of a two-person team in another time slot. That is, she was so different from the usual news person that they promoted her.
I used to listen to a show on XM (its not on any more) and they often discussed the role of the female cohost on the radio. They are there to keep the boys from getting out of line and having too much fun. They say things like “oh my” and “now you guys...”. And act like they can’t believe what’s being said.
Good. So you know how that show is done. You don't know enough about these two to generalize.
