FWIW I have a couple SAS-1 used for $90 shipped (lower 48). In good condition.
There is nothing out there that is as full featured as this piece. If you are switching between speaker level of your AVR and Sonos amp, for instance, it is the best. It will simultaneously switch speaker level and the line level sub woofer signal. Auto sense or 12v trigger.
I hope someone else steps up to build one, but not looking good.
