Do you have a Mac? And do you have a cable with a headphone jack on both ends?

Just plug the cable into the headphone and mic at the same time. Open QuickTime player. Select File--- New Audio Recording. Then record the Podcast on your Mac. Once completed, send the file to your "friend".

Even if you have a Windows computer, you should still be able to install Apple's Quicktime player and do the same thing. Although I am not sure if the "New Audio Recording" is available on the Windows version of QT.

Of course this process will record everything on the computer. So you if do something else that has audio in the mean time, it'll record that too.
