I don't have an issue with the bottom being thicker (stupid, I agree) as I'm "floating" it in front of an existing built in cabinet. Once the set is up, we'll get accurate measurements and build a drawer unit for below that will match the existing cabinets.
I did need the width of that bump though to see if I needed to modify the existing trim...
So 1/2" it is. Thanks guys.
