Brent, I haven't called you yet because this issue kind of got pushed to the back burner.

But I was back on site today and found new information. When I turn on the system and DTV displays the previously mentioned message and the screen blinks in and out, if I switch to ATV, the ATV blinks out and back about every two seconds (the blinking out and back on is not as fast of a rate as the DTV). So now it looks like the problem is more on the projector or AVR than the DTV receiver.

I turned the system off, waited for the projector to cool down, then turned it back on, and it worked fine. No more blinking
