Historically the units with the issue the controllable outlets failed to the off state, all at once and without warning, and nothing you tried would turn them back on.
Call them with the MAC and they can tell you if it's in the batch, and yes affected all sizes of the original models of IP.
I plan to swap it out with my personal 2 port unit that I no longer use. I will call Snap once I pick up the problematic one.
