Spectrum does not use Ubee in Florida. They only use Arris and Technicolor. I assume in Cali too. However if your services stay Brighthouse, you may use others including Ubee. If you do not get wifi from Spectrum the gateways bridge automatically during setup/provisioning. If you have Brighthouse services you must manually set them in bridged mode. Easy answer is to get a modem, only
