I almost wonder if your iPhone had a hardware issue. I got my iPhone 7 as soon as I could, and have no regrets. So far I've had the haptics stop working once, and screen rotation stop working twice. All three times required a reboot to fix. So far I've had no other lockups, however I did have to reset iCloud photo sharing once to get it working again.

And yes, Apple stuff has bugs. There's no 2 ways about it. I've even found easily reproducible bugs in the initial registration process. But I shudder when my friend has problems with her Android phone and I have to help, because I really hate using that thing. It feels like a total mess.

Now, I'm no Apple fanboy - in fact I was totally anti-Apple until I got my first Apple product, an iPhone 4S. Now, I think they do mobile devices well - love the integration between an iPhone and iPad. Yes, innovation at Apple is dead, but the competition isn't wowing me there either.

But I'd honestly rather use a Windows Phone than Android!
