CEDIA 2016 video: gentleman says Android app available but on their website (and doing a search), there is no app for Android still.
Also (as always), content is king. They only offer a very limited number of streaming apps. Even less than Yamaha's MusicCast (if that were even possible).
Seems to be on par with Dayton Audio's Wi-Fly system - I recently tested that system (since it is so cheap in price) and it sucks balls bad. I actually threw the unit in the trashcan when I was done testing after a few weeks. Waste of $60.
Some info on pricing:
[Link: cepro.com]Looks like a Raspberry pi device. This whole system seems very pricey, considering the transport (and having to supply all your own DACs) and the limited services. For 1-4 zones, it's looks actually cheaper to go with the common players (SONOS, HEOS, MusicCast, etc.). For more than 4 zones, still not much of a difference by the time you add in all the kludgy USB DACs and hubs required. Not to mention the mess of wiring and 'piece-togethering' that has to be done.
Am I missing something? Doesn't look very appealing - especially for the price.
