This goes on with many products. It's not just URC.
Russound always claimed they dealt with internet sales, but never really did squat.
When I mentioned that those sales had to be coming from inside due to the lower than dealer pricing, or from distributors, I was told "No, that cannot happen.".
"So, I guess all the dealers are buying these damn things and selling them at a loss?". was my reply.
They, just like URC are doing nothing more than looking at THEIR numbers. THEY are box movers just like the retailers.
That's the facts.
Does Russound tell end users that they will not give them software, but that they can call a dealer and it's at the dealers discretion whether to give them the software?
