If JAP could be integrated into source and display equipment, you'd be there. The issue is we can't even get a standard on mounts that works across the board, and how simple is that to accomplish? No way these manufacturers would get their heads of of their you know what's and get together on actual standards.
You hit the nail on the head. In an industry like the AV industry its hard to come up with standards because no one outside of it will be using it and it'll cost too much for companies to come together to create one. Other industries like the automotive industry or aerospace industry created a unified form of communication due to need.
