If I had my pick of medium to replace it all, I would pick fiber.

Wicked fast, no grounding issues, somewhat easy to terminate, but we would need to standardize one a single/universal connection.

I would like to see it used for everything from A/V, Audio only (line lever), Video only, control, ethernet, etc. Of cause there is a limitation of not being able to carry power, some maybe RJ45 with copper is where it should be at.
