What customer needs the display on screen? Half of my clients complain about volume and inputs popping up on screen.
Considering a lot of AVR's have on screen menu's only, just for setup and maintenance it is pretty important. Of course you can plug your test monitor right into an AVR, but when setting the soundstage up manually, you really have to be in the room.
