My first electrical company had a large job of condos. We kept on getting blamed for un-leveled outlets. Some were out of wack due to the "touch up" painters not taking the care of putting the plates back on. (The screw notch wasn't vertical.) Or worse, there was one plate that was obviously larger than the others. And since we didn't buy any of those... we quietly swap them back to the normal size and yes, informed the GC about that hole that the drywall wallers left and said it's their problem.
