Please ask them to check the colors of the indicator lights on the unit.
They are labeled Power LED(Green) Temp(erature) LED and Lamp LED
note the flashing or no flashing on each.
Also a possible flashing of red of the lamp or temp led before shut off.
If the "Lamp" goes solid red... contact service its definitely not good. If Temp goes solid for 20 sec the projector is overheated ... this will stop the unit from staying on and will shut off after 20 seconds If Temp flashes for 10 sec the fan is failing or has failed .
