I have ZERO doubt that my phone is actively listening for buzzwords that then heard triggers off some other event. I highly doubt they are actively recording and/or transferring the data anywhere.
I have noticed that my iPhone feels like it's vibrating, occasionally- I don't use that to tell me I have a call or any kind of message, so....
It's a brief vibration, which makes me wonder if location services is transmitting when this happens.
