I missed this when it was making the news, but apparently Samsung has had a problem with their washing machines catching on fire. Not all of them, just 34 models were said to be at risk. I guess this came out a few months back, but must have been overshadowed by their exploding cellphones.

But in an effort to save face, Samsung contracted with Dish Network to handle the repairs. But multiple stories are showing this may not have been the best idea.
