there is no way to turn this off in the gateway. It shuts off for 24 hours and then returns to on. the only way to fully prevent this crap is to provide your own modem so your connection and house don't become a public hot spot.
not true with comcast. Not for me anyway. I've had to turn my back off a couple times back when they were rolling this out, but its been "off" for over 6 months now at my house.
