I also have to say Harmony remotes have gotten better. I was recently at a job where the client had a few of the 700 model remotes he wanted me to program. Even though they are IR only, they are only $50 ea (!) , took less than 20 minutes to program, and worked flawlessly on the first go. That particular model is still a terrible solution for any kind of centralized system or one that needs RF, but I have to say I was impressed especially for the price.
