For several years I have used the Dish DVR's and upgraded as new DVR's were released. Through the upgrades I have accumulated the IR codes to operate the receiver. Now that I have upgraded to the Hopper 3 I have one button which no longer works, the "search" button. It appears that dish may have changed the IR code to launch the search window.

In my searches I found references to the IR code that I should be able to paste into the universal browser hex editor that is provided with the MX-850 editor. The code is:
0000 0048 0001 0011 0018 0162 0018 005E 0018 00A5 0018 00A5 0018 005E 0018 005E 0018 00A5 0018 00A5 0018 00A5 0018 00A5 0018 00A5 0018 00A5 0018 00A5 0018 00A5 0018 00A5 0018 00A5 0018 00A5 0018 0162

When I add this code and drag it to the button, the button reflects that the code has been learned however it doesn't work with my Hopper. All of the other codes that I have programmed into the remote (accumulated over time) such as the Red, Yellow, Green, Discrete pwr on, etc. buttons work. Any ideas what my problem may be?

I have seen references that the above code only works if the remote is programmed as address 1 but I don't know how to tell what address my MX-850 is using nor how to tell the Hopper that I am using address 1 verses address 2.
Again, any suggestions?

Does anyone have an MXF with the hopper codes that includes the search button?
