The application is a open family room....attached kitchen, dining, etc. Large area. Subwoofer was wired to a location no where near a corner so I know there will not be reference level output and client is not expecting that. I just want something that will be decent without shaking and rattling the walls. Subdue, Klipsch, TruAudio, Snap, all have dual 8" models around that price. I just have not heard any of them.

Velodyne stopped making subs I think? Not sure I want to get one from the internet with no ability for warranty/service down the road.

I think we may have a Triad collecting dust in the warehouse. I will check to see what it is exactly.
