Updated a system that a moonlighter put in last November. Living room surround sound, three rooms of distributed audio plus a Yamaha music cast play bar in the kitchen.

The moonlighter used two Yamaha receivers, including their surround modes and zone 2's to enable all the different zones of audio. I think the patio had surround sound on the second receiver as its audio feed.

The living room had an MX450, and it had two main pages with every device in the house, including the kitchen television and the master bedroom television. There was not a macro to be found anywhere. The client had spent a whole ton of money on something that was practically impossible to use.

I pulled out the second Yamaha receiver, dedicated the first one to just the living room, and added Sonos in the other zones, plus a play bar in the kitchen. A better, fully programmed remote in the living room, and they are all smiles.
There is no truth anymore. Only assertions. The internet world has no interest in truth, only vindication for preconceived assumptions.
