The Codes do not and will not work reliably with an MX850 (nor 800/700/650/600/500/450/350); the Comcast codes are longer then the devices can record.
You "May" be able to inport the Hex codes but there are no guarantee those will work either.
You should consider selling them a new remote as there are many new devices currently available and coming that will not work with remotes of that vintage (the remote design/technology/protocol is over 15 years old now).
