Hey, but at least there's one on each end, so your chances of lockup are doubled.

Back when one of the biggest issues was upgrading legacy bla bla bla, SDI to HDMI converters didn't exist or were highly priced. I remember talking with someone at a show, several years after HDMI became a thorn in our collective eyeballs, with him saying a one wire solution was coming soon. I think he was talking about SDI; the timing shows this was MUCH after HDMI became the problem it still is.
