I can almost understand how an end user might not care about 4k...
I would question the integrity anyone in the industry that would allow a client to install anything thats not 4k ready right now.
One could debate the morality of installing 4K without explaining that manufacturers are already seriously talking about 8K shipping before 4K sources are even readily available. But, other than that, I agree with you
