With all the issues with HDMI and legacy systems or just HDMI in general why not just use SDI? You can get HDMI > SDI converters and SDI > HDMI converters for little money that support HDCP and resolutions up to 1080p 60hz over a single coax. Am I missing something here? Have never seen this discussed or even thought about it myself until I just happened across some of the adapters on Monoprice.
