Why wouldn't the Araknis AP system (presuming mulitiple APs) allow for roaming in a home? My presumption is that any multi-AP system without a controller effectively has a "virtual" controller, hosted by one of the APs, no?
Edit: that's been our experience with the Cisco WAP371 series of APs, which we've used with middleing-to-good success at a handful of client homes. I'm considering ordering a demo system of the Araknis 500/700 ac APs to benchtest, however.
Incidentally, does either the AP web interface, or better yet the OVRC interface, allow one to see with which AP a given client is associated, in or near realtime?
