Yeah I was worried too. But after unboxing it and handling it, I do not think it will get "tacoed" by these folks. Now, I might be worried putting it on a tilt mount above a fireplace.....too much tilt, with the way they built the TV, might be asking for some mexican food of some type....chalupa maybe?

The fact that a single person cannot grab both sides of the TV and pull is comforting. Requiring 2 persons to move the TV will do 2 things. 1. It will make it safer and less likely to damage the TV. and 2. It will almost certainly make sure the TV never gets moved. :)

I still do not know why Sony did not just build the TV one thickness. It would certainly make the set less taco prone if it was the same thickness on the top half as it is on the bottom half.
