I disagree. Many clients are convinced by the loud voice of their budget that they know more than we do. We all remember the clients who knew what they wanted because, hey, they were financial wizzes (yes, I mean wizz, not whiz).
There's the TV ad with the old guy who's talking to the young guy and saying, "I been tryin' to tell ya." This is like that.
Reserve for some lighter moment the advice to your client that they're trying to do vast things with half-vast equipment and they'll have a half-vast result at some point. Say this out loud to yourself before you say it to them.
