We have pretty much switched over to the Araknis routers, mainly for OVRC. They supposedly use the same hardware board. So different firmware basically. And the Araknis are so much smaller. And they are easier to mount on a wall/in a can. I have already had a dead power transformer on one though. Yikes. A Snap product with a power cord and.....the power cord died. Who woulda thunk?

Thanks for your support of Araknis! Sorry for any issues you had with the power supply. We build them to withstand 15KV ESD (most IT products are only rated to 8KV) and 2.5KV Surge (most IT is 1KV). Our verified fail rate is under one half of a percent with an incredible amount going into the field each month.
