He might not. If he didn't have an initial problem, then they will probably stay working as is.
But the possibility of future installs having issues if he continues to use them (or changing something in the old installs), is good that he will run into problems eventually.
Unless he's like Tuck and Snap seems to ship all the good ones to him. Head scratcher there ?
