I wonder if this new part (#ILR-10K) the Pulseworx aka PowerLine Control Systems released for their UPB dimmers would work properly on other dimmers? and improve dimming efficacy?

I do install UPB dimmers but have not used this new part yet. It is basically a resistor. I don't even know how well it works with their own dimmers, but I assume it gets the job done on their stuff.

Rhea, these are not expensive. If you have a Ra system that you could experiment with (I don't), you might consider getting and trying 1 or 2 of these? Home Controls in SoCal or Worthington east cost probably has them.

Just a thought. If they work, they would allow you to pretty much spec any dimmable LED bulb you want.....................................maybe.
Chasing Ernie's post count, one useless post at a time.
