Thanks for the help. Did the 987 code and the remote started spitting out the channel IR. I tried the AV Pro HDMI extenders for the first time and they work very well. Just wish they made a box to mount all of the transmitters in. No problems sending and receiving the IR and HDMI looks great with no connection issues.

It would have been easier to put the small comcast boxes behind the TV if preplanning had been a luxury, but this job was one of those " the drywall is going up tomorrow and I want a TV distribution system, but I don't know which provider I am using." In retrospect I should have run a RG6 with the Cat6. I thought I could use Cat 6 and Muxlab baluns if needed instead of RG6. The baluns didn't work, in fact a 10' cat 5 produced a very noisy picture. Mux labs tech help was never there and would not call back.
