If I see one of my former neighbors soon, I'll ask about his thoughts on what has been happening and for what went through his mind before and after he shot & killed a would-be armed robber at a gas station/convenience store. Both Black, Wayne was off-duty and he was hit six times. The only comment I remember him making about the event is "It was him, or me".
