Best boat story ever....
Two of my friends rented a small boat at a local lake. Went out, shut the motor down and went to fishin'.
Up comes a BAD storm, and they cannot get the motor started so they have to use oars to row all the way back to the dock. Getting madder and madder the more they row.
They finally get to the dock, and start having a heated conversation with the guy that rents the boats.
He walks to the boat, looks at it for a minute, puts it in neutral and the motor fire up with one pull on the rope.
At work on Monday they each blamed the other. Laughing like little kids, since it was now funny....
Another incredibly common reason boats won't start is from people not clipping the lanyard onto the safety switch.
