They need a universal remote w/RF base. You mentioned RTI, pretty sure they have a good code set for the Xfinity, in the newest IR Megalist.
Depending on the distance however, the simple RTI ProControl remotes might not work well. Several people have indicated the range on that RF base station was not that good.
Just how far away are these other rooms?
