If the xfinity remote is set to RF, you can change it to IR by pressing the setup button until the lights flash, then enter in 987. The box will accept RF commands from the xfinity remote and IR codes from another remote at the same time
why have a nice system if you cant operate it, program the remote the right way the FIRST time!
